Room Hire


The High Street Centre Ltd is easily accessible and easy to find being situated on the main road through Rawmarsh in Rotherham. It is a large Methodist church building which is conveniently located on a main bus route.

Car Park and Heating

There is limited free on-site car parking to accommodate groups on the well maintained premises which have central heating and secondary glazed windows for comfort.

Rooms and Resources

The building hosts a variety of rooms that are suitable for different size groups. You can hire the room regularly or just a one off. We offer Free Wifi and a range of equipment, such as flip-chart stands – projectors can be booked separately.

Refreshments and local amenities

We offer a range of hot and cold drinks / refreshments to accommodate different budgets. If you want to have a party or bring your own food and drinks we have a fully equipped catering kitchen that can be hired. Alternatively external catering can be arranged. For those who prefer independence we are close to local shops, with a Staniforths and a Tesco Express within a 2 minute walk.


The team at the centre offer a friendly and welcoming greeting to all customers and we can provide a named host to meet and greet your group.

Book and Pay

Streamlined booking system where customers can check availability, book and pay on-line, we can also arrange for invoices to be emailed to you.

Your payment can be processed by BACS, cash or cheque.


We welcome visits and staff are always happy to give you a tour before you book. We do recommend that you contact us to arrange a viewing so that we can make sure the room you wish to view is available.


By booking rooms with the High Street Centre Ltd you are helping the local community as any income generated from room hire is put back into the community centre to continue to provide excellent local services.


All regular bookings benefit from promotion on the High Street Centre’s website, posters can be displayed on the community noticeboard. We also encourage groups to provide the admin team with a poster saved as a photo (GIF or JPEG) that can be uploaded onto the centre’s Facebook and Twitter pages to enable you to market your group or activity to a wide range of local people in a cost effective manner.
